For those of you that visit astro imaging web sites here is a shameless plug for the one which is rapidly becoming the place to be. The Progressive Astro Imaging Group was set up as a place to learn and you do that by giving and receiving honest criticism about your work and that of other forum members. There is nowhere to hide here, if your work is a bit scratchy someone will tell you. The thing is the criticism will always be accompanied by solid advice on how to improve and avoid some of the less obvious mistakes. As I said, it's the place to be if you really want to improve. |
Late August 2011 update.
Due to my treading on the very fragile ego of the chief moderator on Star Gazer's Lounge I have been declared persona non grata for the rest of my life. If he cannot live with mild criticism that is his problem, I know that others welcome it.
